“ BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN DELAWARE! I really don’t understand why this place doesn’t have 5 stars?! We moved here from San Diego CA and were so happy to find El Nopal! Our waitress was Genesis and she was a delight. The food is as close to authentic as you will ever get in DE. The fajitas are so flavorful, and if you try anything make sure you get their house made Horchata and their tamales Genesis hooked it up and had them make my husband a California burrito too that wasn’t on the menu and he said it brought back memories! ”

I had tacos, authentic corn, lime onions and cilantro-my friend got fajitas which came with enough for leftovers. Prices were reasonable, and there are specials on Tuesdays. Looking forward to catching them again soon and trying some other dishes! Yummy! ”

“ It wasn't very busy for a Saturday night, but service was fast, and the server was friendly. The prices were reasonable and the food was delicious. The complimentary chips and salsa were really good, too. I had a mojito (which was a little sour for my liking), a chicken quesadilla dinner, and quesebirria taco. My husband had a peach margarita, which was delicious, beef tongue tacos, and carnitas tacos. I would recommend giving this place a try and we will definitely be going back soon. ”
